Does the bible even say Adam and Eve were perfect? Or Jesus? Or that during the thousand year reign humanity will be restored to perfection? I always got the sense the perfection part was added in by them.

Is the Watchtower's concept of 'perfection' biblical?

Attractive Sisters: what are you lurkers thinking right now?
by pomo6780 indear lurkers, you won't be disappointed by this topic.
when i was in the org, there was a strict dress code.
no woman was attractive, and when i was a young witness child i was conditioned to believe every woman in the world must be ugly.

Your motivation for wanting to empower these trapped women seems a little questionable

Work Christmas functions: Being a Bible Student (unbaptized)
by rulehayl inhi all,i have been studying with the witnesses for more than 6 months and regularly attend both midweek & weekend meetings, and i am nearly at the end of the "bible teach" book.
my boss is adamant i attend team christmas functions.
she knows about my studying and potential baptism next year, and has suggested that i attend and just not participate in activities like kris kringle.

If someone said the bathroom I'd be pretty sure that they meant the toilet, but no it isn't what you'd generally say in the UK.

Position on blood idolatrous?
by Jehovah lol ini just had this thought in my other thread.. jehovah witnesses refuse blood transfusions because they believe blood to be the sacred symbol of life.
that's the primary reason, the medical justifications are simply ad hoc excuses.
couldn't it be said that their willingness to give their lives for the sanctity of the symbol of life is idolatrous?

I'm not religious so I have no bone to pick with idolatry, but I know it's a big deal for the WTS, so as a doctrine it is inconsistent with their own ideals. Do you think that this reasoning could be used to sway witnesses on the issue in times of personal medical crisis?

In the UK, 'the toilets' means the restrooms.
